Life can get complicated, and sometimes our own health ends up at the bottom of the list. Lack of time, money, and insurance, as well as the fear of being judged, can prevent someone from seeking the medical care that they need and deserve.

If you are, or think you might be HIV-positive, we can help overcome the obstacles to receiving proper medical care. It's possible to manage your HIV and manage your life, too. Committing to care is the first step.

What is HIV?

HIV stands for human immunodeficiency virus. It's the virus that can lead to acquired immunodeficiency syndrome or AIDS if not treated.

Unlike some other viruses, the human body can’t get rid of HIV completely, even with treatment. So once you get HIV, you have it for life.

Making Your Way Back To Care

Life is full of starts and stops.

Let's get you back into care and living your best life.

What Are the Benefits of Being in Care?

  • For many people with HIV, within six months of medication and proper monitoring by a healthcare professional, it's possible that the viral load, or the amount of virus in the blood, can decrease so significantly that it is undetectable.
  • Being undetectable means that there is zero risk that HIV can be passed on to others.
  • Being in care and taking medication consistently means the body is in good health and the immune system is functioning properly.

Can I Get HIV Care Without Insurance?

  • Medical care can be expensive, but a lack of money or insurance doesn't have to keep you from receiving the treatment you need. You have options.
